Speech-language pathology education enables a career in diagnosis and treatment of speech or language impediments. Education in this discipline can be applied to learning or medical environs. A master's degree is considered to be the minimal education required for a career in Speech-language pathology; however, certifications, four year programs and associate degrees are also available in the field. Many specialize in the needs of gerontology or youth due to the nature of age related factors in speech disorders. Colleges and Universities that offer a BA in Speech pathology are: College or School Institution Type University of Maryland-College Park 4-year, Public University of North Texas 4-year, Public Brigham Young University 4-year, Private not-for-profit University of Tennessee 4-year, Public University of Kansas 4-year, Public West Virginia University 4-year, Public Nova Southeastern University 4-year, Private not-for-profit University of Utah 4-year, Public University of South Carolina-Columbia 4-year, Public Central Michigan University 4-year, Public University of Alabama 4-year, Public Northeastern University 4-year, Private not-for-profit University of New Mexico-Main Campus 4-year, Public Western Michigan University 4-year, Public Oklahoma State University-Main Campus 4-year, Public Northern Arizona University 4-year, Public University of Toledo 4-year, Public Towson University 4-year, Public Ball State University 4-year, Public CUNY Queens College 4-year, Public

Question: What are the top 10 partying beach colleges?
I want to go to a college that has lots of fun [not really conservative] and it's on/near a beach. Anyone know of any of those colleges?

Party schools do not look nearly as good on a resume as a serious school. You may have fun, but your studies won't progress at the same rate as somewhere else. You will be worse off for it. Having said that, both Playboy and the Princeton Review have a history of selecting their top 10 party schools. Here are there lists for 2006 (from Playboy) and 2007 (from Princeton Review): Playboy 1 University of Wisconsin 2 UC Santa Barbara 3 Arizona State 4 Indiana University 5 San Diego State 6 Florida State 7 Ohio University 8 University of Georgia 9 University of Tennessee 10 McGill University Princeton Review 1 West Virginia University 2 University of Mississippi 3 University of Texas 4 University of Florida 5 University of Georgia 6 Penn State 7 University of New Hampshire 8 Indiana University 9 Ohio University 10 University of California, Santa Barbara So looking at both lists, just pick out the ones that are near beaches. From the looks of it, you should probably look at UC Santa Barbara, San Diego State, Florida State, and University of Florida. So really you just need to decide whether you want to live in California or Florida. I would recommend California.
