Take Videos, Photos or Write Reviews of:

  • Department buildings/facilities
  • Dorms (inside and out)
  • Athletic stadium/facilities
  • Local town or area
  • Hangouts around campus/town
  • Classrooms/Lecture halls
  • Cafeteria/Restaurants/Bars
  • Fraternity/Sorority Houses
  • Parties/Student life
  • Student organization/events
  • News around campus
  • Recreation/activites on campus
  • Getting around campus

Ask yourself or other students these types of questions:

  • Why did you choose the school?
  • What do you like and dislike about the school?
  • What is the social scene like on campus?
  • What is the overall student body like on campus?
  • What are the academics or faculty like?
  • What are the campus facilities like? (Dorms, Library, etc.)
  • How is the food on campus?
  • What’s good or bad about the school’s location?
  • What do you know now, but wish you knew before choosing the school?
  • What are the stereotypes of the school/student? Are they true?
  • What is an absolute ‘must have’ for a student here?
  • What advice would you give to an incoming Freshman?

INTERVIEW TIP: When asking others these questions be sure to include their age, year in school and major.
