San Francisco State University offers an excellent selection of on-campus dining and snacking options. In its uniquely and artistically structured Cesar Chavez student center, students may choose from several cafes, ranging from coffee parlors to smoothie shops, and a diverse set of conveniently located eateries, which include a Chinese take out, Italian pizzeria, and Mexican taqueria. In addition, snack centers and coffee stops are strewn all throughout the campus, which students can easily access between classes for quick pick-me-ups. The University also has a buffet (open for lunch and dinner), a pub, and a Subway. Overall, the food is good, service is efficient, and location is great for socializing.
