Not always Sunny at SFSU

For someone who may be new to San Francisco, the weather may seem very different or dreary, and for the locals, it’s seen as just another day by the bay. The thick grey blanket of fog envelops San Francisco many days of the year, and San Francisco State University’s location is prime real estate for the fog. All I can tell you is to embrace the fog, because it’s not going anywhere. SFSU’s location is only a couple of miles from the Pacific, where the fog comes from, so for someone who may be used to nice hot weather, San Francisco State University’s temperatures are moderately cooler than the rest of the bay. It’s not always foggy however, San Francisco’s weather is unusual and it’s usually warmer in the winter than in the summer, so there is sun, just not a whole lot of it.
