Many flexible part-time jobs are available to San Francisco State University students. It is common to see University students working within departments, in the restaurants, cafes, recreation centers, bookstore, library, and everywhere else on campus. Generally, jobs are easy to come by but pay very little (typically minimum wage). On the plus side, students are usually offered flexible work schedules (supervisors will allow extra time off for exams, for example), light workloads, and have understanding managers. Both work-study and non-work-study type jobs are available. Departments may post for jobs or jobs can be searched on San Francisco State University’s GatorJobs online system.
