While attending San Francisco State University, many students from out of town or state are forced to either live in a dorm with other SFSU students, or to find an apartment with the Bay Area. As many would probably guess by now, it’s quite expensive to live in San Francisco, and both dorm rooms and apartments cost a lot to live in. Dorms at SFSU can cost well over $1,200 a month, and over $10,000 a year. If you’re from the Bay Area and live with your parents or relatives, then consider yourself very lucky, because even though dorm life can be a lot of fun and adventurous, students at SFSU pay a lot to live on campus.
