Question: Could you help me find a good college for linguistics and/or journalism?

I'm only a freshman in HS, but I'm getting an early start on it all. I'd prefer it to be gay friendly as well. Alternatively, could you direct me to a college-finding website?

Emerson was named one of the most 'gay friendly' colleges, and it has a very good journalism program. These are other 'gay friendly' schools: American University (DC) Ball State University (IN) Binghamton University - SUNY (NY) Bowdoin College (ME) Bucknell University (PA) Carleton College (MN) Colgate University (NY) College of Wooster (OH) Colorado College Colorado State University Connecticut College Davidson College (NC) Denison University (OH) DePauw University (IN) Duke University (NC) Eugene Lang College (NY) George Mason University (VA) Gettysburg College (PA) Goucher College (MD) Grinnell College (IA) Hamilton College (NY) Haverford College (PA) Hawaii Pacific University Hendrix College (AR) Hobart and William Smith Colleges (NY) Hood College (MD) Illinois Wesleyan University Indiana University James Madison University (VA) Juniata College (PA) Le Moyne College (NY) Long Island University (NY) Lycoming College (PA) Marquette University (WI) Miami University (OH) Michigan State University Mount Holyoke College (MA) New York University North Carolina State University Northeastern University (MA) Oberlin College (OH) Ohio State University Ohio University Ohio Wesleyan University Old Dominion University (VA) Pennsylvania State University Randolph-Macon College (VA) Reed College (OR) Roger Williams University (RI) Shepherd University (WV) Simon's Rock College of Bard (MA) South Carolina State University Suffolk University (MA) Susquehanna University (PA) Swarthmore College (PA) Trinity College (CT) Tulane University (LA) University of Colorado-Boulder University of Georgia University of Iowa University of Maine University of Maryland - College Park University of Massachusetts – Amherst University of Michigan University of New Orleans (LA) University of Pennsylvania University of Puget Sound (WA) University of Rochester (NY) University of Scranton (PA) University of South Carolina University of Vermont University of Virginia University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse Utica College (NY) Virginia Commonwealth University Washington & Lee University (VA) Washington College (MD) Wells College (NY) Wheaton College (MA) York College of Pennsylvania Good schools on that list that are especially good for journalism include UPenn, UVA, U Mass Amherst, NYU, and American. Use the Princeton Review for college-finding...or a better bet is to buy one of the college guides from a bookstore, like Fiske.

Question: What is the best major to pursue if I want to become a Health Psychologist?

If "Health Psychology" is not available, is regular psychology okay? What are some well known colleges that prepare one for this type of career? Lastly, what does a Health Psychologist actually do and where do they typically work?

Health psychology is concerned with understanding how biology, behavior, and social context influence health and illness. Health psychologists work alongside other medical professionals in clinical settings, work on behavior change in public health promotion, teach at universities, and conduct research. Although its early beginnings can be traced to the kindred field of clinical psychology, four different divisions within health psychology and one allied field have developed over time: clinical health psychology, occupational health psychology (an allied field), public health psychology, community health psychology, and critical health psychology. Question: What are some colleges that offer archaeology as a major?

Definately north of Washington D.C. and preferably no farther west than Wisconsin or Michigan, but that's not mandatory. I'd also be willing to go to school in Canada. If the schools also have a D1 cross country team it would be great! But if you don't know about that then you can just send me the links to those schools with archaeology majors in general.
