Question: What are some great creative writing or literature colleges?
Yeah, so I'm just looking ahead 7 years. I'm writing several novels at the moment. I've written tons of short stories. Being a successful writer is my life goal at the moment so any suggestions? Don't hold back. Also good photography colleges? Always goo to have a back up plan.

Question: What colleges offer degrees in piano accompaniment?
I'm looking into piano accompaniment as a major. I was told there's only one college that offers a degree in that, but that doesn't seem reasonable? Does anyone know which colleges (or what college) offers this as a major? Thanks!

That is a good question. It depends how long it takes to complete the program and what types of schools that you go to public or private. You can not get a BS in PT anymore. The majority of PT programs require you to get a clinical doctorate in PT. There are only a handful of masters programs and they are in the process of switching over. They are mandated to switch over by the year 2020 but I feel that by 2012 they all will be. There are 2 options for the DPT. A 3 plus 3 program or a BS plus 3 program. The list of 3 plus 3 programs are Connecticut Quinnipiac University (A2, D6, F1, PR) University of Hartford (A2, D6, F1, PR) Indiana University of Evansville (A2, D6, E5, F1, PR) Maine Husson University (A1, A2, D6, PR) Massachusetts American International College (A2, D6, F1, PR) Boston University (A2, A4, D6, F1, PR) Northeastern University (A2, D6, F1, PR) Springfield College (A2, D6, F1, PR) Missouri Maryville University of Saint Louis (A2, D6, F1, PR) Saint Louis University (A1, A2, D6, F1, PR) Nebraska Creighton University (A2, D6, F1, PR) New Jersey The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (A2, D6, F1, PU) New York Clarkson University (A2, A4, D6, F1, PR) Daemen College (A2, D6, F1, PR) Ithaca College (A2, D6, F1, PR) Nazareth College of Rochester (A2, D6, F1, PR) New York Institute of Technology (A2, A4, D6, F1, PR) The Sage Colleges (A2, A4, D6, F1, PR) Touro College (A2, D6, E1, E3, E5, F1, PR) Utica College (A2, D6, F1, PR) Ohio College of Mount St Joseph (A2, A4, D6, F1, PR) Pennsylvania Duquesne University (A2, D6, F1, PR) Lebanon Valley College (A2, D6, F1, PR) Misericordia University (A2, D6, F1, PR) Saint Francis University (A2, D6, F1, PR) University of Scranton (A2, D6, F1, PR) University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (A2, D6, F1, PR) Virginia Shenandoah University (A2, A4, D6, F1, PR) Wisconsin Carroll College (A1, A2, D6, F1, PR) Marquette University (A2, D6, F1, PR) Here is the the link to all PT schools http://www.apta.org/AM/Template.cfm?section=PT_Programs&template=/aptaapps/accreditedschools/acc_schools_map.cfm&process=3&type=PT Here is a link to the career of PT by the professional PT organization. http://www.apta.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Career_as_PT_PTA&Template=/TaggedPage/TaggedPageDisplay.cfm&TPLID=242&ContentID=31095 Best wishes

Question: what are good universities in the USA to study a master in civil engineering?
I'm looking for a good university but it should be in a city because I won't have a car and I won't like to be in a campus in the midle of nowhere. Any suggestions?

Some of the best-ranked civil engineering programs are in the sort of city I think you're looking for - one that has good public transportation, so you can get around without needing a car. Those that I'd like to suggest for you include: - University of California, Berkeley - Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Northwestern University Those programs rank top 10 in civil engineering, and are in places that have a good public transit network. Other universities that rank a bit lower than those, but are still good schools, and which are in places with strong public transit include: - Northeastern University - Boston University - Carnegie Mellon (although the public transit there isn't as strong as in Boston or Chicago or San Francisco/Berkeley, it's also not horrible) - Princeton University - Columbia University - Harvard University - Johns Hopkins (like Carnegie Mellon, not as strong re: public transit as the other schools I'm linking, but not horrible) - University of Florida (many people use the local buses, which are okay, or ride bikes around town. Public transit is okay, not horrible, here) - Rutgers - University of Massachusetts, Amherst - the public transit here is all buses, but it's extremely good and most buses are frequent and free. In addition, the campus is in walking distance of the town. In general, the best public transit systems in the US are to be found in Boston and the towns just around it, NYC and the towns around it, Chicago and its suburbs, and San Francisco. Pretty much any school you considered in those regions would offer good public transit options. The best public transit system in the US is certainly NYC, but sadly, there is no good engineering school in or very close to that city. Princeton and Rutgers have decent enough bus and etc. links, and those are the closest good engineering schools to NYC. Boston, however, has a lot of good engineering schools (BU, MIT, Harvard, Northeastern), and fabulous public transit, so that should certainly be an option.
