Question: How come I can´t seem to find a college offering Business Administration? Is it a graduate degree or something?
I am only looking at private universities and colleges, but I can never find B.A. in any lists of majors/minors offered at the institutes. Amherst College Bates College Lafayette College Whitman College Colgate University Williams College None of them offer Business Administration!

Business is one of the most popular majors in the US, so it's available at tons and tons of colleges. However, it's not something that is normally found at highly traditional, "liberal arts colleges", which is what you're looking at. Normally, students at those schools who want to get into business either major in economics (and do internships in business), or else major in something else entirely and do those internships. Normally, with a name like Amherst on your resume, you're not going to have too much of a problem getting either business internships or getting a job in business. In addition, you'd normally also go on for an MBA after you've worked for a couple of years - and that's where you'd focus on business studies. If you're really interested in a liberal arts college (LAC) like those you've listed, one idea is to go to Amherst. Amherst is part of the five-college system, and you can take classes at UMass Amherst as part of your Amherst College degree, and UMass is a powerhouse undergraduate business program. UMass is in walking distance of Amherst College, and there's also a free bus - tons of Amherst students take classes at UMass. You may want to talk to Amherst about this option, and even about whether or not they'd like you design your own major or minor, combining classes at Amherst and at UMass, to get both the LAC experience you want, and the business knowledge you desire. But again, the elite LACs do not offer a business major. If you are heartset on majoring in business for your undergrad degree, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Both universities and four-year colleges award bachelor's degrees in the USA. Usually a college is smaller and does not award doctoral degrees. Two excellent and difficult colleges are Reed College and Amherst College. Easier colleges for admission include Lewis and Clark College and St. Mary's College (in Moraga, CA). A very easy university for admission is the University of Texas at El Paso. There are hundreds of additional examples.
